Headed by Dr Margaret Dunkley, Mildura Surgical Group provides comprehensive General Surgery for patients & families across Mildura & the local region.

Dr Dunkley is a highly-trained surgical specialist with wide clinical expertise including laparoscopic, colorectal, bariatric, skin and breast cancer surgery.

Dr Dunkley was born and raised on a dairy farm in Gippsland. She believes that everyone living in rural Australia deserves to have access to high quality health care and safe surgery as close to home as possible. She is compassionate, approachable and committed to helping all her patients achieve good health. 

As the Director of Surgery at Mildura Base Hospital, she is committed to improving rural surgical services and is actively involved in the training of young surgeons, doctors and medical students whilst enjoying the wide range of practice demanded by a rural surgical career.
